1. Who we are
CarKeeply (the “App”) is a local-first iOS app for vehicle records, maintenance, fuel, Live trips, and (with Business) owner-managed fleets on this device. Contact: support@carkeeply.com · carkeeply.com · App Store Connect.
2. Data we process
• Account: name, @handle, phone (if provided), on-device PIN hash, optional Face ID / Touch ID, Sign in with Apple (Apple user id; we never receive your card number).
• Personal cars: make, model, year, VIN, plate, mileage, photos, specs, document/insurance dates, optional Bluetooth adapter binding.
• Diary: jobs, fuel fills, observations, photos, shops, parts.
• Live trips: GPS track and speed only when you start a trip on this iPhone; if an OBD adapter is connected, trip metrics may be richer (VIN/OBD with your consent).
• Camera / photo library: when you add photos (cars, documents, diary).
• Business (if used, owner-only): companies, fleet cars, people roster (names/roles for assignment), shifts, cash, company PDF. The owner enters facts on this device — there is no separate employee login product.
• Car/business transfer: offline files .carlove / .bizlove plus a code you share yourself. Not a continuous cloud live garage.
• Purchases: Free / Plus / Pro / Business via Apple StoreKit; we do not receive payment card data.
• Optional iCloud snapshot: if you use Sign in with Apple and choose backup, a garage snapshot may be stored in your iCloud private database for reinstall/restore on the same Apple ID. This is not multi-device live sync of a shared garage.
• App Group: widgets and Apple Watch companion snapshots on this installation.
• Technical: crash reports (TestFlight/Xcode), StoreKit identifiers.
3. Where data is stored
• On device (local-first): SwiftData is the source of truth for your garage.
• Optional iCloud CloudKit private database: snapshot backup/restore for the same Apple ID — not a live multi-device garage product.
• Apple: StoreKit, Sign in with Apple. Local notifications may be scheduled on device; the App does not operate a separate push server for product features.
• No separate social server, public feed, or advertising SDK.
4. Why we use data
• Garage, maintenance, fuel, Live trips (recording and auto mileage), and owner-managed fleet operations on this iPhone.
• Bluetooth adapter — only when you connect one; richer trip data, not a separately sold product feature.
• Location — only for Live trips you start yourself.
• Local notifications — maintenance, documents, fleet events (per your settings).
• Transfer via .carlove / .bizlove — only when you export/import; the recipient may get a short grace period of paid-tier features, then needs their own subscription (data is not auto-deleted).
• Public catalogs (e.g. NHTSA) — requests without PIN.
5. Sharing
• Apple (App Store, StoreKit, optional iCloud, Sign in with Apple).
• Public reference APIs — without PIN or payment data.
• We do not sell personal data and do not share it with ad networks.
• Transfer files you send yourself go only to people you choose.
6. Your rights
• Delete account: in the App, Profile → Delete account (removes local account data on this device as described in-app).
• Clear history: Profile → Delete all history (see in-app description).
• Face ID / notifications — iOS and app settings.
• Cancel subscription: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (refunds are handled by Apple).
• Optional iCloud snapshot — Apple ID / iCloud settings; local data may remain until deleted.

7. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by local law).
8. Security
PIN is stored as a hash on device. Use iPhone lock. Share transfer files only with trusted people.
